The highlight of November deserves a Newsletter of its own. HEFFI-Helsinki Education Film Festival International, "The Slush of #Filmmaking for Education" - as I started calling it when we started inviting students to run part of the show - held its 5th festival at #Marski by Scandic Hotels this year. With the first young entrepreneurial student from Tampere University, Sanni Salokangas, leading a workshop on "How to start a business in Finland" with more practical details than anyone I've seen so far, and future expert photographer Gener Cuaresma fabulously capturing the images of the event, we definitely will follow Peter Vesterbacka's secret ingredient for the #Slush success on letting the young people run the show next year. With initial collaborations with Hanken School of Economics and The Student Association of Hanken School of Economics in Vaasa (SSHV r.f.), among others, next year will definitely be a special one.
The award winners of this year's event were initially summarized in a previous teaser of our #EduTravel #Podcast series, featuring Director Roel Swierenga's Before the Oil and Director Jonathan de Jong's Human Forever.
